Fighting Example: Chippenham Town vs Chesham United | National League South | Tuesday, February 11, 2025

Back at TSS Tuesday night when Bluebirds offers Chesham United to West Country in the National League South.

Gary Horgan’s boys are looking to get back on the field after falling to defeat at the Focus Community Arena over the weekend and lose 4-2 to Hemel Hempstead. Despite some bright sparks with Hamzad Kargbo, who scored an incredible effort from over twenty meters out that flew into the back of the net from the crossbar, and Matt McClure found himself on the score for the first time since November, it was also A gone day to forget about Bluebirds with Luke eggs who receive a straight red card for a professional error on the Hemel tip Oli Lynch.

Looking to turn it against a Chesham side that has not seen a win on the road in the league since October as they beat Enfield Town 3-2. The generals were founded in 1917 and are seventeen-gang winners of Berks and Bucks Senior Cup. The last time they tasted success was in 2018 when they defeated MK Dons after a penalty after a 2-2 draw.

This season is actually the first time they have been in the National League South, and won the Southern Premier League division last year, of course a division American blue birds have won recently and we have some fond memories against the Generals of the Southern League Days, such as To beat them 3-0 at home during our promotion season, with Chippenham legend Andy Sandell among the goals that night.

The biggest threat to looking in the Chesham side is striker Nathan Minhas, the tip has scored ten goals so far for the generals in all competitions, including a stag against the blue birds as we lost 2-0 away to Chesham in November in FA Trophy. Meanwhile, striker Harry Parsons is one of the big threats to our boys in Blue, as he is our top scorer so far this season with ten goals for his name in all competitions.

An interesting meeting is waiting for Chippenham faithfully under the lights at TSS against a page that is not yet winning from home since October.

Come on Bluebirds !!!
