Valentine’s Day Storms, Phoenix Zoo changes, the election bill passes

Arizona House and the Senate have adopted bills aimed at speeding up the voting counting process in Arizona.

Among the questions that the Senate Bill 1011 and House Bill 2703 include that they allow voters who choose to hand in their mail-in votes at an early polling place after 7 p.m.

The bill also adds Saturday, Sunday and Monday before Election Day as another three days of early voting. These days were originally limited to voting only.


What started as a friendship built through baseball love has transformed into a Waddell woman who found a perfect match for a transplant she desperately needs.

Denise has a rare disease that affects the filter in her kidneys, and she goes on spring training games like an escape from the daily matches of her medical condition.

Back in 2022, Denise Cathy met, who had come from Chicago to see a game in Sloan Park in Mesa.

It turns out that Cathy was a perfect match for the transplant that Denise desperately needed, and last month Denise received a kidney from Cathy.

Waddell Woman finds organ fight in friend she met through spring training


Last week, ABC15 broke the story of investigative results from the plea, an association of police officers in rank and file in Phoenix PD, showing a heavy resistance to the temporary boss.

Thursday, ABC15 achieved a similar study conducted by Phoenix Police Sergeants and Lieutenants Association.

In the case of investigative results, only 14% of officers replied that they believe the department is moving in the right direction under temporary boss Michael Sullivan.

In the PPSLA survey, only 8 people of the 324 surveyed, less than 2.5%, believe that the department is moving in the right direction under Sullivan.


The Phoenix Zoo, together with the Arizona Center for Nature Conservation (ACNC), announced that the ‘big cats in Arizona: A Bridge to Arizona Wilderness’ opens this spring!

According to the Zoo, more than $ 5.3 million was raised, “thanks to donors’ generosity” to build the new habret for mountain lions and jaguars.

According to the Phoenix Zoo, the construction of the habitat in November 2023 began and is expected to be completed in March.
