House Democrats have been widely mocked to release their own “Choose your fighter” -parody -Video branded “cringe” across the political spectrum.

The video, which contains and was broadcast Wednesday by Tiktoker Sulhee Jessica Woo, features representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jasmine Crockett, Lauren Underwood, Katherine Clark, Judy Chu and Susie Lee. One by one, the women jump into consideration as their political rankings, results and “skills” are listed in the video in the style of the viral Tiktok trend that repeats character selection from classic match video games.

The video drew quick reactions to social media – with many panning of it.

“This is the reason why the House Democrats have an approval assessment of 20%,” said one user of X, while another said the video was “cringe-tastic.”

“This is without parody. It’s embarrassing. The whole of their playbook is not about ideas, but about performance: dancing, singing, optics. Not a single material idea throughout this wheel, ”another X added.

In the video, with clenched fist on the basis of a room furnished with zebra stripes, is the New York Rep. Ocasio-Cortez declared as the “youngest woman and Latina to be chosen for the house.” One of her skills is listed as “Trekkie.”

Texas rep. Crockett was promoted her as a lawyer and public defender, but acknowledged that she is “not a morning person.”

Illinois’s Underwood celebrated that she is the first black woman to be elected to Congress and co -founded the Black Mother Office. Her profile added that she also hates balloons.

House Minority Whip Clark noted that she “is not in hair color” while rep. Lee from Nevada erected “2 sprained fingers” as one of her attributes.

California Rep. Chu’s profile highlighted the fact that she is the first Chinese American woman to be chosen for Congress and that she is “too sweet.”

However, many were not susceptible to the light -hearted video that was shared on Tiktok. The White House ended with the mockery of social media. “Democrats are not about challenging,” the official quick response account that was sent on X. “Level: impossible.”

Magas Marjorie Taylor Greene also took the opportunity to plague the Democrats. “Trump deteriorated Democrats release ‘Choose your Fighter skit’ after refusing to stand and clap for a child with cancer under President Trump’s address to Congress,” published the congregation of X. “Democrats have sunk so low that I actually begin to think sin on them.”

“This can’t possibly be real,” said CNNS Scott Jennings.

But there was a smash of support.

“Well, at least they try,” a person said. “Their strategy on social media as a party is so back that they have to start somewhere. Hopefully they will continue to polish the product. “

“It’s a little addictive when you first start to see,” another added. “I didn’t know that AOC is a trekkie.”

Tiktok comes during a week in which Democrats have been criticized for their protests against President Donald Trump’s joint congressional address.

Late evening, Stephen Colbert hosted them out to keep away from home signs in protest during the president’s speech. He suggested that they “tried to do something” instead of keeping his own sign up.

“In addition to outfits, the Democrats were prepared to stand up to authoritarianism with a wide range of props, including a blackboard and pocket constitution,” Colbert also said. “What my friends are how you stop fascism.”
