‘Running Point’ Renewed for Season 2 on Netflix

“Running Point” has picked up a quick renewal for season 2 on Netflix.

The message was made on the Netflix’s official X account Thursday. The news comes only a week after the series debuted on February 27th.

In the message, the Star Kate Hudson series said: “A good basketball team owner knows when to listen to the fans. So we hear you and so did Netflix. ‘Running Point’ officially comes back to season 2! “Thanks so much everyone saw the show so far! I am just out of excited because you are really the reason why we are able to return and do another season. So thank you, we’ll see you next season! ”

Hudson plays in the series as Isla Gordon, the lost daughter of the owner of the legendary Pro Basketball -Franchise Los Angeles waves. But after her brother, the team’s president, is forced to resign after a major scandal, Isla is called President. According to the official logline, “ambitious and often overlooked, Isla has to prove to her skeptical brothers, the board and the larger sports society that she was the right choice for the job.”

Together with Hudson includes the role crew of one-Cam comedy Brenda Song, Drew Tarver, Scott Macarthur, Fabrizio Guido, Jay Ellis, Toby Sandeman, Chet Hanks, Max Greenfield, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Roberto Sankez, Uche Agada, Dane Dane Dane Theroux.

“Running Point” comes from authors Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz and David Stassen. All three also serve as performers, while the stass is the series showrunner. Hudson Executive produces in addition to playing the lead role. Jeanie Buss, President of Los Angeles Lakers, also produces performers together with Lakers Manager for special projects Linda Rambis, with Howard Klein from 3 Arts Entertainment Executive producing. Jordan Rambis is a producer. Warner Bros. Television, where Kaling and Her Kaling International Banner are under an overall agreement, is the study.
