2025 ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament: Updated Matchups, Results, Schedule, TV

After an exciting regular crusade, the next challenge is on the dock for some of the best in the sport of women’s basketball conference tournaments. With that Acc Will be responsible for some of the most exciting matchups in the country this week as their series takes place in First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.

During the season, certain teams in ACC have separated themselves. Programs like NC State and Notre Dame have been among the best units in the whole nation throughout the year while others like Duke and North Carolina have continued their rise in the last few months.

It should be an exciting next few days in the tournament. Check out the full schedule for the Women’s ACC tournament below, updated with the latest results, and see how the fate of your favorite team could be fulfilled, with the NCAA tournament threatening big in the background.

Round 1

Play 1: 12 Boston College Def. 13 SyracuseAt 76-73

Syracuse came out of Gates Roaring, Outscoring Boston College with 13 in the first quarter and took a 17-point lead to the break. However, it was the Eagles who made their PEP-Talk a seismic shift in the second half that outscored orange by 13 in the third quarter to set up a wild run to the final quarter of the game.

In the end, Boston College ended their monster comeback and noted a three-point victory in the back Dontavia Wagoner And her career high 32 points. They will now move on to North Carolina in Game 4 on Thursday as Tar Heels will be fresh and hope to keep their huge season rolling as they are 25-6 on the season, but they have fallen in their last two competitions.

There was a little drama in today’s second game as Virginia controlled Matchup against Pittsburgh almost from start to finish. It was never very close in the fourth quarter when Cavaliers protected a double -digit lead.

As for score, it was a rounded effort for Virginia. Four different players ended the game in double figures scoring: Kymora Johnson (17 points), Breona Hurd (15), Latasha Lattimore (12) and Paris Clark (11). Now it is victory and goes on for Cavaliers.

Play 3: 14 Clemson Def. No. 11 StanfordAt 63-46

Clemson really managed to pull away in the third quarter of this one after they outscored Stanford 21-14 in the third period. The Tigers also led with 11 points at the break, so they never felt challenged after the break. It was smooth sailing for victory. Loyal McQueen of Clemson poured in 17 points and eight rebounds. Mia Moore also tiled in 14 points and four rebounds for Tigers. Clemson had three players in double figures (Anya Poole, Mia Moore and Loyal McQueen).

Clemson hit 8 of 17 three-pointers and connected 47.1% of their shots from over-the-arch. Stanford hit only 3 of 11 shots from deep (27.3%). Courtney Ogden led the road with 13 points and three rebounds for cardinal. She also released two assists and had a steal. By winning, Clemson will move on to the second round of 2025 Women’s ACC Basketball Tournament, where they will meet against Louisville.

Second round

Play 4: 5 North Carolina Def. 12 Boston CollegeAt 78-71

North Carolina ran out of the gates with an 11-0 race to start the game and take the early command of the competition. Tar Heels maintained this position until Eagles hit a flurry of 3-Pointers, including a game-binding one just before the third quarter ended. The fourth quarter was a back and forth affair.

After Boston College took a six-point lead in the final frame, North Carolina used a 12-0 race to itch back in front. It would keep from there. TAK —Heels were led to score of Lexi Donarski‘s 20-point excursion.

Play 5: 9 Georgia Tech Def. 8 Virginia TechAt 72-57

Georgia Tech took control early in the competition against Virginia Tech and runs her violation purely and effectively. A 17-0 race in the fourth quarter allowed the yellow jackets to remove the game for good.

California cruise to an easy win over Virginia Thursday 75-58. They jumped out to a nine-point lead after the first quarter, and it was smooth sailing the rest of the way. Cavaliers cut in the Golden Bears leading with six points in the fourth quarter, but at that time the game was well in hand. Kymora Johnson Pumped in 18 points for Virginia while grabbing eight rebounds, Dishing out two assists and getting two steals. Two other players scored in double for UVA, Paris Clark (15 points) and Breona Hurd (10 points).

Golden Bears got double -digit scoring efforts from four players to lead them to victory: Marta Suarez (16 points), Ugonne Onyiah (16 points), Lulu Twidale (16 points) and Kayla Williams (12 points). Onyiah ended with a double-double, 16 points and 10 rebounds. Cal connected 9 of 24 three-Pointers on Thursday (37.5%) and drilled 10 of their 11 free-throwing attempts. They dominated the glass, transcending Virginia 46 to 28. With the victory they go forward to meet Notre Dame. In their regular season Matchup won Fighting Irish on Blowout mode 91-52.

Play 7: 6 Louisville DEF # 14 Clemson In ot, 70-68

Louisville won over Clemson on Thursday night in the second round of the ACC tournament 2025. They won 70-68 over time thanks to a great achievement from Mackenly RandolphThe Statarket filled with 11 points and five rebounds. She is the daughter of the former NBA star Zach Randolph.

The Cardinals also got double -digit notions from Olivia Cochran (10 points), Tajianna Roberts (16 points) and Yes’leah Williams (16 points). Williams filled the Statarket with a double double, 16 points and 12 rebounds. Roberts was also dominant on the glass and brought down 10 boards. Louisville destroyed Clemson on the glass, 41 rebounds for 26 Thursday night. Clemson just came short but still had four players in double: Mia Moore (12 points), Loyal McQueen (12 points), Raven Thompson (12 points) and Hannah Kohn (14 points).

Quarterfinals

Play 8: 5 North Carolina Def. 4 Florida StateAt 60-56

North Carolina went into Friday’s showdown with some momentum after defeating Boston College on Thursday. It certainly showed to start the game when they outscored Florida State with ten in the first quarter. However, the seminols returned to the second and Outscored Tar Heels with 14.

After a lively second half, there was only one team that could advance to the semi -finals on Saturday. With four players scoring double -digit points, North Carolina came out on top of Florida State. Tar Heels played a fantastic game outside of the second quarter and they were rewarded for their efforts.

Play 9: 1 NC State Def. 9 Georgia TechAt 73-72

Georgia Tech stood high against Virginia Tech Thursday but Friday presented a whole new challenge with the top seed NC State Wolfpack On the dock. The yellow jackets showed zero fears that drove to a five-point lead at the end of the first quarter, but # 1 seeds in the ACC tournament came back roaring to initiate their claim.

In the end, the No. 9 seed has only beaten No. 1 seed once in the story of ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament, and Georgia Tech tried to grow this number, but NC State survived. Their one-point victory sets a fantastic showdown up in the semi-finals with North Carolina Tar Heels Awaiting them Saturday at noon.

Play 10: 2 Notre Dame Def. No. 7 California 73-64

No. 2 seed Notre Dame pulled away from Cal Golden Bears in the second half to prevail 73-64. The Irish match went on to the ACC tournament semi -finals thanks to the Outscoring Cal with six points in the second half to help them seal the deal.

Hannah Hidalgo led the match Irish with 25 points and four rebounds. Olivia Miles also pumped in 14 points, four rebounds, six assists and three steals. Notre Dame -the defense had a dominant view on Friday night and forced 28 California revenue. Irish the Irish had 13 steals in their ACC quarterfinals.

Play 11: 3 Duke DEF # 6 Louisville 61-48

No. 3 Seed Duke Blue Devils brought a 61-48 victory over No. 3 Seed Louisville in the ACC Tournament Quarter Final Friday. Duke held Louisville to their fewest points total in an ACC tournament game. The Cardinals were without their star player, Jayda CurryThere was out with a shoulder injury. Duke really took control of this in the second quarter and expanded their lead to 31-18 at the break.

Blue Devils ended with four players in double digit Ashlon Jackson (11 points), Reigan Richardson (12 points), Toby Fournier (10 points) and Oluchi Okananwa (13 points). Fournier also filled the Statarket with eight rebounds. The Duke ended by shooting 22 out of 53 from the field (41.5%) and 6 of 18 from three-point range (33.3%). Now Blue Devils is making a return flight to the ACC Tournament semi -finals since two years ago, where they face No. 2 Seed Notre Dame on Saturday.

Semi -final

Play 12: 1 NC State Def. 5 North CarolinaAt 66-55

NC State started with a hot start and never looked back in the semi -finals against North Carolina. Wolfpack led with 11 at the end of the first quarter, and they kept more than enough distance between themselves and Tar Heels all afternoon.

Aziaha James led the way with 19 points and the top seed of the ACC tournament is on the final. They are waiting for the winner of Nr. 2 Notre Dame and No. 3 Duke, with the game that takes place shortly after this in Greensboro. As for Tar heels, they become spectators who Indya Nivar’s 13 points were not enough to get the job done.

Play 13: 3 Duke 61, 2 Notre Dame 56

Duke took full control of Saturday’s match against Notre Dame in the second half and set # 2-seeded matches Irish’s back square against the wall. The blue devils led the entire fourth quarter – and while Notre Dame tried to get back into it, it wasn’t enough. Duke beat the struggling Irish and advance to the ACC Tournament Championship for the first time since 2017.

Notre Dame played most of the other half without Olivia Miles Due to an ankle injury. She returned by 1:30 to play, but Duke remained in total control to hang on and take down # 2 seed in the ACC tournament thanks to some crucial offensive boards in the last minute.
