5 players you didn’t know played the U19 World Cup with Rachin Ravindra FT. Shubman Gill

Rachin Ravindra has emerged as one of the finest young talents coming out of New Zealand in the last few years. In particular, Southpaw has scored 1,196 races in 32 ODDs an average of 44,29 by five centuries.

Ravindra has been in incredible form in the ongoing Champions Trophy, where he has scored two tons. He is the greatest hope of the site as they seem to win the title against a strong Indian clothing.

The upper order dough got a taste of international cricket during his performance in the U19 World Cups 2016 and 2018. He scored 58 races in five rounds of 2016 edition while returning with 233 races for six rounds in 2018, with a lonely century and a fifty.

#1 Rishabh mortgage – 2016

Rishabh Pant opened to the Indian side with Captain Ishan Kishan in the U19 world championship in 2016. His best bank of 111 out of 96 came against Namibia. Mortgage also served as a keeper and ended with seven redundancies.

His contribution played a key role to take India to the final where they were beaten by the West Indies.


#2 Rashid Khan – 2016

The talented spinner Rashid Khan represented Afghanistan in 2016 -the edition of the U19 World Cup. Although the site could only win one of three games and could not move on to the next phase, he was the team’s top wicket-taker.

Rashid Scalped 10 Wickets in six appearances with the best numbers of 3/16. In particular, he ended with numbers of 3/30 against New Zealand, which helped to win the game and finish in ninth place in the tournament.


#3 Sam Curran – 2016

Sam Curran proved his merit as an all-rounder for England in the U19 World Championship in 2016. He scored 201 races and picked up seven wickets in his six appearances.

Curran’s performances secured England’s qualification for the quarterfinals, where they were beaten by Sri Lanka.

Since then, the tournament finished in sixth place after they were defeated by Pakistan in their last match. Interestingly, Curran played a fantastic bank of 83 to run the site for a total of 264.


#4 Shubman Gill – 2018

India’s reliable run-scorer Shubman Gill played the U19 World Championship in 2018 under the leadership of Prithvi Shaw. While battling at No. 3, Gill was the top dough for the men in blue with 372 races, with a lonely century and three fifties.

Gill’s best round at 102* came in the semi -finals against Pakistan, who eventually saw India win with 203 races. The final against Australia saw the right hand contributing 31 out of 30 as India lifted the title with an eight-wicked victory.


#5 Shaheen Shah Afridi – 2018

One of Pakistan’s finest pacers, Shaheen Shah Afridi participated in the U19 World Championship in 2018. He was Pakistan’s top bowler with 12 wickets in five appearances with the best numbers of 6/15 against Ireland.

Afridi’s contribution paved the way for the page to qualify for the semi-finals against their Arch rivals India. The game saw the left arm pacer back with numbers of 1/62 out of 10 overs when Pakistan lost with 203 races.
