Paul George excluded for Sixers vs. Celtics Game – NBC Sports Philadelphia

Sixers will field a star-less team Thursday night in Boston.

The team downgraded Paul George (left groin’s tenderness) from questionable to out on his 14:30 A injury report.

George had seven points on 3-for-11 shooting, seven rebounds and six assists Tuesday in Sixers’ loss to Timberwolves. On top of his lingering grocery question, he has played with a splint on his wounded left Pinkie finger.

Sixers went into Thursday with 13 losses in their last 15 games, including a blow -out defeat to Celtics on February 20, as all stars were available.
