Mike Myers channel Dr. EVIL for the return as Elon Musk in ‘Snl’ Cold Open

“Saturday Night Live” returned to the Oval Office of the Cold Open this week, when the role of role portrayed a meeting between President Donald Trump, State Secretary Marco Rubio and Elon Musk, where their inner thoughts were shared, “slowing your enthusiasm” style.

Mike Myers repeated his role as Musk in the Sketch, which opened the Lady Gaga host episode.

In the Biten Broker Trump, played by James Austin Johnson, tension between Rubio, played by Marcello Hernandez and Myers’ Musk. This week, it was reported that cabinet members, including Rubio, have busted by some of the actions taken by Musk with the Department of Government Efficiency.

At one point, Hernandez’s Rubio Johnson’s Trump told: “While Elon has caused chaos, I have worked behind the scenes and I am very close to an agreement with the Panaman Government to re -enter the Panama Channel.” As he replies, “Eh, I don’t want it anymore. You know, (it) seems like a hassle. What I really love is Thailand. Okay? Because I’ve seen ‘White Lotus’ and it looks beautiful. ”

When Rubio reacts, the sketch of Trump’s inner monologue imagines, where he thinks, “Ah, so boring. This guy can’t stop talking. ”

“I think something and don’t say it out loud,” he continues. “Whoa. This is a whole new thing. This is crazy. This can save me a lot of trouble. I should do this more often. I won’t, but I should. ”

The sketch also imagines Musk’s thoughts. At one point he wonders, “did this job take a bad idea?”

“Many people seem to really hate me. My Tesla stock goes down and my personal net worth fell just by $ 100 billion, “Musk Musk thinks, with Myers bringing his pinky to the mouth at the end of the latter line, a reference to his Dr. Evil -character from the Austin Powers franchise.

“SNL” is in the middle of its milestone 50th season celebrated with a star -studded special last month.
