India chases 251 against New Zealand in the Champions Trophy final

India put a choking team on New Zealand in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final in Dubai, limiting them to 251/7.

The spins took control in the middle of the game with Varun Chakaravarthy and KoldePe Yadav, both of whom took two wickets and limited New Zealand to a driving rate of 3.30 in Overs 11 to 30.

But a late resurgence saw the black caps of 50 races in the last five overs to increase their scores.

They had started off a quick start, with Will Young and Rachin Ravindra, who both drove on their luck as India missed a few chances of early wickets.

But Varun eventually made the breakthrough and took the young LBW out in the eighth over.

Ravindra’s promising start was shortened in 37 races of 29 balls, the bowling of cold ep, which then caught and was canceled Kane Williamson two overs later.
