The Weather Authority’s influence day ends

Jacksonville, Fla. – The Weather Authority’s influence day has ended when the storms leave the region on Wednesday afternoon and leave a refreshing change in the atmosphere. The rain pushes out and drier air sets in and sets the stage for a fantastic sunset tonight.

Rain ends over St. Johns and the flags streams early in the afternoon and run into the Atlantic.

Fortunately, the few thunderstorms that rumbled were never serious, but Gusty Wind is lasting and topped 30 km / h at times. Rain amounts were generally lightweight with 0.28 inches registered in orange park, 0.35 inches in Arlington and 0.23 inches at Jax Airport.

Rain totals.

As the sky is clear, temperatures fall into the 60s tonight before throwing themselves down in their 40s tomorrow morning. With high -pressure building in, Sunshine will dominate the forecast in the coming days. But don’t get too comfortable – another rainfall is expected to return this weekend.

Keep an eye on Weather Authority for the latest updates!
