Rutgers Star with on the Wood Price Top 15 Vote

Voting for the Wood Prize 2024-25 has been released and Rutgers is represented within the top 15.

Dylan Harper was named the Wood Prize, which was released on Saturday morning, according to what has been an incredibly individual season.

Harper entered Rutgers as one of the best recruits in the nation out of high school and has played as a beginner. He currently average 19.1 points and four assists per Battle while shooting 49% off the field. Harper logged a career hill 37 points during the player’s era festival in November in a game against Alabama. This came after a 36-point performance the night before against Notre Dame.

It’s been a disappointing season for Scarlet Knights. Rutgers goes on a season finale on Sunday against Minnesota with a record of 14-16 and 7-12 in the Big Ten game. Apart from a Mirian race in the Big Ten tournament, Rutgers will miss the NCAA tournament again in a year when it was ranked in AP Top 25 coming into the season.

The arrival of Harper and Ace Bailey, two of the top five recruits in the nation, gave Scarlet Knights a great hope for the year. It quickly went to the road as Rutgers fought on the defensive end of the floor and has not been able to find a solution.

Harper has not been a disappointment individually and is expected to be one of the best players taken in the 2025 NBA draft.
