Vikings, Aaron Jones agree to deal with

Aaron Jones continues to become Vikings. The veteran who runs back has accepted a two-year-old, $ 20 mm appointment, As first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schafter.

The covenant includes $ 13 mm in guarantees, almost twice as much as Jones took last season on his one-year Minnesota pact. The long-standing Packers starter was a cap Casualty at the forefront of the team’s decision to enter into a long-term obligation to Josh Jacobs. As a result, Jones made the intra-divisional feature, one that turned out to be fruitful.

The 30-year-old handled a career high 255 carrier in his debut Vikings season; Jones also put a new personal brand with 1,138 rushing yards. Topping 1,500 Scrimmage yards for the third time in his career demonstrated the veteran that he can still be effective in leading a back field. He will be expected to do so again with this new deal in place.

Jones said in January that he is aiming to end his career in Minnesota, and today’s news is a step in that direction. There was a mutual interest from the team to prepare a new agreement in which Jones’ invalid date was pushed back to March 11.
