Chiefs signing linebacker Nick Bolton for $ 45 million contract

Chiefs has secured a key component in their defense by signing linebacker Nick Bolton for a three -year contract of $ 45 million with $ 30 million guaranteed.

This is coming as Chiefs aims to reload their defense after another Super Bowl performance last season, According to ESPN.

Since he was elected in the second round of the 2021 NFL draft, Bolton has been instrumental in Chiefs’ defensive skill, which has been a leading factor in their dominance.

The consistent performance of the Missouri product has solidified its role as a central figure in Chiefs’ defense.

His new contract is worth $ 15 million a year and positions Bolton among the most paid interior linebackers in the NFL.

Bolton has started 53 of its 57 NFL appearances and registered five sacks and four intercepts with two forced fumbles.
