St. Louis is undefeated in four games against Galaxy (1-0-3 record) and has the lonely victory in the series after beating the Galaxy at home last season. The reigning MLS Cup masters have had a tough start to the 2025 campaign and fail to pick up a point in all three of their competitive matches to start the season. La Galaxy lost 2-0 in their home opener against San Diego, fell on the road to Vancouver 2-1 last weekend and was edged 1-0 by Club Sport Herediano in the Concacaf Champions Cup game on Wednesday night. City SC will aim to secure their first win of the season, while the galaxy looks to avoid being the first reigning masters to lose their first three opening matches in the regular season.
