Best fits top players on offense

game

NFL Free Agency Frenzy is about to begin.

Teams can start negotiating with free agents during the legal manipulation period, which starts on March 10 at 1 p.m. 12 et. Free agents can officially sign with clubs when the new league year starts at. 16.00 one on March 12th.

Davante AdamsAt Chris Godwin and Sam Darnold are three of the most profiled free agents available on the offensive side of football. Where will Adams, Godwin, Darnold and other prominent free agents countries?

US Today Sports is investigating the best landing spaces for 10 of the top free agents on offense:

Davante Adams, WR (2024 Team: Jets?

Best: Fit: San Francisco 49ers

Adams vaulted immediately to the offensive agent # 1, then Jets Released him.

The 32-year-old Wideout has six just 1,000-yard receiving seasons. He may not be the recipient he once was, but he is not too far away from being considered the best Wideout in the league.

There are rumors that Adams prefers to play on the west coast. He is originally from the Bay area. The Chargers is a team that could use a # 1 -Wideout like Adams if they lose on DK Metcalf Competitions. But the 49s were just sent Deebo Samuel to Washington commanders.

Adams is not the Yard-AFT-CATCH machine that Samuel is, but he is a superior rutist. Adams Rutile Direction Combined with Brandon Aiyuk ‘S -skills would be scary in Kyle Shanahan’s west coast overpower.

Chris Godwin, WR (2024 Team: Buccaneers?

Best fit: Pittsburgh Steelers

Godwin suffered a season -ending ankle injury in week 7, but was one of the NFL’s leading recipients before then. Wideout was in the process of 121 catches, 1,399 yards and 12 touchdowns during a 17-match season.

Godwin is a good possession recipient who can keep the chains moving. Veteran Pass Catcher knows how to play with another prominent broad recipient. He spent his entire career in Tampa Bay with Mike Evans.

Steelers need a wide receiver to pair next to George Pickens. Besides, Godwin would be a good mentor for the mercury width. Pickens was Pittsburgh’s only wide receiver with over 40 catches last season.

St. DiggsWR (2024 Team: Texans?

Best Fit: Houston Texans

Diggs drew up 47 catches, 496 receiving yards and three touchdowns, but a knee injury cut his first campaign in Houston for only eight matches.

Tank Dell‘S cruel knee injury creates a hole in Texans’ wide receiver space despite the team acting for Wideout Christian Kirk to help fill the void.

Diggs proved last year that he is doing well as # 2 wide receiver at the back Nico Collins. There are enough options for Collins, Diggs and Kirk to succeed, especially with CJ Stroud throws football. The trio is needed for Houston to remain in violation.

Amari Cooper, WR (2024 Team: Bills?

Best fit: Arizona Cardinals

Cooper did not live up to the expectations after Bills traded for him in October. He spoke 20 receptions, 297 receiving yards and two touchdowns in eight games in regular season in Buffalo.

The 30-year-old recipient is still a good route runner, but he is not a # 1 option at this time in his career. Coop’s veteran management and presence on the field would be advantageous for a player who Marvin Harrison Jr. and Cardinals’ passport overrun. Arizona needs more weapons around Kyler Murray.

Sam Darnold, QB (2024 Team: Vikings?

Best fit: New York Giants

Is Darnold Quarterback who helped lead Vikings to a 14-2 record through 17 weeks or qb that fade down the stretch?

It’s probably a place in the middle.

Darnold enjoyed career heights in all significant statistical quarterback categories in 2024, including yards (4,319), touchdowns (35) and passers-by (102.5). However, he regressed in week 18 and under Minnesota’s wild-card loss to Los Angeles Rams. He had a 55.5 passing rating in the final of the regular season and followed up this performance with an eavesdropping, a fumble and indecisive game in the post season.

In total, Darnold’s season 2024 was much improved from what we have seen before from Jourman. Darnold has opportunities. The Vikings could sign him, be jerked that Seattle is interested or maybe even Giants.

I think Darnold should return to New York, but this time in a blue uniform.

Aaron RodgersQB (2024 Team: Jets)

Best fit: Seattle Seahawks

Rodgers, 41, is set to be a free agent. He does not appear at the four-time MVP level he once did, but he is still a QB-start caliber. He started playing better during the latter part of last season. He had a passing rating of at least 90 in four of his last five starts in New York.

Seahawk’s General Manager John Schneider was Packers‘Staff analyst to General Manager (2002-2007) and were promoted to director of football operations (2008-2009), while Rodgers was in Green Bay.

The Seahawks do not have a starting caliber quarterback on their list after trading in Geno Smith. Rodgers would be a solid bridge while Seattle is searching for future quarterback. Seahawks have a pair of rising stars in wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Kenneth Walker III in the back field. However, the Seahawks’ O-line must be improved and Metcalf wants it.

Aaron JonesRB (2024 Team: Vikings)

Best fit: Minnesota Vikings

Jones gathered a career high 1,138 rushing yard in his first season in Minnesota. He also caught 51 balls in 408 yards. He made up seven touchdowns from Scrimmage. Despite being on the other side of 30, Jones remains a starting caliber running back. He was a valuable piece for the Vikings during their 14-3 regular season.

Whether the Vikings hand over the quarterback keys to JJ McCarthy Or decide to bring Sam Darnold back to another round, the team must keep Jones. Jones is the type that runs back that can speed up McCarthy’s learning curve, and he has already shown that he fits in with Kevin O’Connell’s violation.

Deandre HopkinsWR (2024 Team: Chiefs?

Best Fit: Kansas City Chiefs

There were games where Hopkins played as Kansas City’s best wide receiver, such as a week 9 performance, where he spoke eight catches and two touchdowns. Hopkins, however, was not productive under Kansas City’s run to Super Bowl 59. He had only three catches, 29 receiving yards and a touchdown in three playoff games.

Chief’s broad recipients praised Hopkins for the leadership he brought to the recipient room.

Rashee Rice (knees) expected to return to the field in 2025 and Xavier worthy showed lots of promise during his rookie season. Hopkins can serve as the under threat of Kansas City. He will play for a challenger at this stage of his career.

Keenan AllenWR (2024 Team: Bears?

Best fit: Los Angeles Rams

At the start of next season, Allen will be 33 years old and then his number falls during his first year in Chicago. Is that a sign of the upcoming things, or was it a by -product of Caleb Williams‘Up-and-down-rookie season with the bears? It’s probably both, but Allen is still a knowledgeable runner.

Veteran Wideout works best out of the castle. Allen’s expertise in the middle makes him a perfect fit for the rams planning to share ways with slot man Cooper Kupp. Allen is a cheaper option than Kupp and can run similar route concepts.

Russell WilsonQB (2024 Team: Steelers?

Best Fit: Pittsburgh Steelers

Wilson helped Steelers get into the playoffs but the team’s passing violation really Get started. He average 225 passing yards per day. Fight for a Steelers club with the 23rd ranked violation in the league. He still throws a pretty deep ball, but has a tendency to reject intermediate passes. The 36-year-old QB can still be a skilled starting in the right situation.

The veteran Quarterback will have more continuity in Arthur Smith’s scheme if he returns to Pittsburgh.
