Sean McVay does not close the door at Cooper Kupp returns to Rams in 2025

LongTime Rams Brede Recipient Cooper Kupp wrote an emotional note on social media last month and announced that Los Angeles was planning to trade him this season after eight years with the team.

Since then, Rams also allowed Quarterback Matthew Stafford to talk to other teams and assess his trading market value. The two sides eventually restructured his agreement to bring him back.

With the 37-year-old signal call that is staying and head coach Sean McVay announces that Veterans Tyler Higbee and Rob Havenstein also remain in LA– A season that appeared to be a reset for Rams has now turned into a “Run it back.” This gives the question: Could Kupp also return?

Sean McVay did not close the door when asked Monday Morning.

“I would never talk in absolute,” he replied.

Ironically, you say you would never talk in absolute – in fact – an absolute.

While bringing back the 31-year-old pass-catcher would certainly reassure Stafford would Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer reports that Quarterback’s return to Rams, “Don’t change anything with Cooper Kupp.” It sounds like they are still planning to trade with him.

Kupp has two years left on its current contract, Ans has to earn $ 20 million in 2025 and $ 19.85 million in ’26.
