Now, in the newly released full trailer for Season 2, we get our first real sense of the horror – and heartache – Showrunner’s Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann have been waiting for us this time. From the cult -like Serafites to the militant Washington Liberation Front (WLF), led by Jeffrey Wright’s commander Isaac Dixon, is the series’ most important thematic exploration of humanity’s unlimited capacity to make his own monsters by being taken even more. And in the form of Dever’s Abby and Merced’s Dina, they are emotional bonds that bind – and threaten to strangle – Joel and Ellie’s own bond clearly to wip and frozen in new ways.
