Julia Roberts, Luca Guadagnino Thriller ‘After Hunt’ Set October Release Date (Exclusive)

Amazon MGM awards the film a Prime Awards season release date with a limited rollout on October 10, before expanding October 17th. “After the Hunting” opens nationwide on the same date as Blumhouse’s thriller “The Black Phone 2” with Ethan Hawke and Lionsgate’s R-Rated Comedy “Good Fortune”, Starring Aziz Ansari, Keanu Reeves and Seth Rogen.

Described as a “gripping psychological drama” follows the film Roberts as a university professor, who “finds himself on a personal and professional intersection when a Star Pupil (Eebiri) levels an accusation against one of her colleagues (Garfield),” according to the official loline. When she navigates in the difficult situation, threatens “a dark secret from her own past to emerge.” Michael Stuhlbarg and Chloë Sevigny end the role crew.
