Clippers -Trainer Tyronn Lue (Back Pain) Misses Victory Over Kings

Inglewood, California – La Clippers Coach Tyronn Lue missed his team’s 111-110 overtime gain against Sacramento Kings due to back pain.

Lue participated in his session before the game with media on Sunday night and gave no indication that he had a problem. The team provided no further details about the 47-year-old condition.

He was replaced on the bench by assistant Brian Shaw. He has been with Clippers since 2021. Shaw was a former head coach of Denver Nuggets and served as an assistant twice at Lakers, where he won three NBA championships as a player.
