Chromecast “Untroeaded Device” error causing headaches globally

People with one of the original style, Google Chromecast devices are pulling out their hair this morning as any attempt to stream gives a mistake “non -procedured device” without obvious steps to correct the problem.

The full error suggests that your Chromcast “could not be verified. This may be caused by outdated device company. ”.

While this is probably a mismatch between the security certificate or protocol on your device and on Google’s servers, it may not be an easy solution.

However, the advice of IT people in online minities is not to perform a “hard reset”. A full reset like this will wipe the device back to factory settings and therefore it will have no WiFi connection.

It is possible because of this problem that it cannot be set up fresh and if it has no connection, it cannot get any online solution, like Google problems.

Unfortunately, the best advice is to turn off and wait.
