Love is the blinds sara says leg ‘dropped me’ after the show (exclusive)

Sara Carton opens up the demand for her Love is blind Divided from Ben Mezzenga.

The couple came to their wedding day at Love is blind Season 8, but when it was time to say “I do,” Sara said she couldn’t marry legs because she “always wanted a partner to be at the same wavelength” and legs didn’t meet her demands. In response, Ben, 28, another solution: Stay with Sara and continue to “grow” their relationship.

Sara seemed to be caught by the guard by his proposal and laughs awkwardly and said to him, “We’ll see.” She later told people that she found that his answer was “disrespectful” and couldn’t see himself dating him after the split.

“With the whole concept of ‘you go away forever’, I was like, it’s disrespectful in a way what we signed up for and the whole point of why we’re here,” she said. “I also say ‘no’ to a marriage, why should I continue to date someone? If you want to say ‘no’ to it, why even continue the relationship?”

After that day, however, the two continued to live together for about two weeks, Sara revealed on Season 8 -Geno Association on March 9. Then, just as they planned to move in together in Nashville to her new temporary job, Ben Things ended out of the blue, she claimed.

Now Sara opens to people about what really went down.

“After the wedding day, with all my hesitation I knew, I was like, I can’t say ‘yes’ to a marriage today,” she says. “But of course, I constantly hope that things could work or maybe without all that chaos by not living a normal life right now, but later, being able to get back in our routines … I might think it could work.”

So Sara remained the course.

“We continued to live together for a week or two after the wedding. And one day he dropped me, ”she continues. “We had a discussion that we were together and it one day … he removed me from finding my friends. I didn’t hear much from him because he was out with friends drinking, which is fine. He went to a twin game and had fun. But I didn’t hear much from him, so he removed me from finding my friends and it was then it told me the most.”

It gave Sara “the most clarity about who Ben is,” she reveals. “I was shocked and I felt super duped that he was just waiting for that time just to drop me. But I mean, it all made sense with everything that came to my attention throughout the filming.”

She adds, “He was like, ‘Oh, I thought we were broken up.’ I’m like ‘that was never the discussion.

Before this, Sara says she had seen several “red flags” in Ben’s behavior that made her question if he really was a man material or on the show for the right reasons. Concerns included a video that appeared on Tiktok showing a woman crying over a man’s alleged abuse acts, which he later admitted was about him, claiming that he Distributed YouTube -Visit Cards to girls to promote his side.

“Tiktok was huge, so it told me I had to learn a lot more about legs than I already know,” says Sara. “I had to ask him the tough questions.”

As a result, “I asked if he was there for the right reasons,” she admits. I don’t doubt we had a good connection because we really did. I wouldn’t have said ‘yes’ if I didn’t feel we had a good connection. But after a while with everything happened and then the YouTube cards could and saw my friends tell me about their experiences with him at U, it just didn’t add. So there could have been underlying motif there. ”

Sara also examined her own intentions. “You afterwards I think if I had to say ‘yes’ (on their wedding day) and I led him to believe, or I told him I would say ‘yes,’ I feel honest that he would have said ‘yes’ just because he would do it anymore and be a couple coming out of this,” she adds. “It’s just my assumption … I wouldn’t be surprised.”

To his part, Ben said on the reunion that he regretted not having deeper conversations with Sara and refusing any wrongdoing.

He said it was his “understanding” that they were “broken up when she left” to Nashville, adding that he “cut it off” because he thought it was the “healthiest way to get over someone.”

“On Friday night -Date I remember it was coming to a pretty specific end,” he said of their date before traveling to Nashville.
